Middle East Travelogue

Sept/Oct 2001

I hope you enjoy this travelogue of my journey through Jordan, Syria and Lebanon in the fall of 2001. Many misconceptions exist about the region and I hope this will help to dispel some of the myths out there. The people I met were all very sympathetic to what had happened in the US on Sept 11 and were hurt that Muslims were implicated in such a tragic event.

I hope you find this travelogue entertaining, informative and educational.

"There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action."
-Johann von Goethe
